You can cancel or downgrade your subscription anytime through the Account Management page, with changes taking effect at the end of your current billing cycle. If you upgrade your subscription, the new plan will be activated immediately.
There are no limits to the number of students who can access a course. Once you share the course to your LMS via LTI, we don’t track student usage.
Our pricing is set in Australian dollars, excluding any local sales taxes. The system will automatically convert the payment from your local currency to AUD. The system may also calculate and apply sales taxes on top of the advertised subscription fee.
You will be responsible for paying any sales taxes, transaction or conversion fees required by the payment processor, which will be automatically calculated and charged.
We accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards. We don’t accept bank payments, cryptocurrencies, or American Express credit cards at this time.
eSkilled AI Course Creator 1.0 is designed for the end user, whether that’s a workplace, school, university or RTO creating courses for use within their own organisation.
We have plans to create ‘Agency’ packages with the features and tools that instructional design agencies and freelancers need to effectively create and sell courses to RTOs, schools, workplaces and other purchasers of course materials.
This will require the development of additional functionalities to support the requirements of instructional design agencies. Details are still to be determined, but you can look forward to this in a future update.
Unfortunately, you can’t. However, you can extend your access to AI Course Creator by subscribing to a monthly or annual plan, which you can cancel anytime.
Course creation is very quick. Like ChatGPT, the AI will take some time to generate the content. It typically takes a minute or two per section and 5-10 minutes for the full course. Of course, longer and more detailed courses will take extra time to generate.
eSkilled AI Course Creator uses OpenAI’s GPT-4o language model which was trained on a huge database of information, and does reference current search results when generating outputs. The quality of the outputs is amazing.
Like using ChatGPT and other AI chat tools, the depth and accuracy of the output is also determined by the quality and completeness of the inputs and context provided to the AI tool.
You can adjust topics and sub-topics, add interactive elements and multimedia, incorporate self-checking quizzes, and leverage a powerful AI Assistant to add practical examples and case studies. With AI Course Creator, you have full control over your content and can even build courses manually.
Yes; simply skip the course content generation step and revisit the course outline to add content anytime.
AI Course Creator generates content based on the default language in your system settings or the indicated language during the course creation process. However, GPT-4o can generate text in over 90 languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, and Swedish. All languages are available on all subscription levels.
Yes, during the course creation process you can give the system instructions about the complexity of language. The language model will try it’s best to accommodate your request within the limitations of the complexity of the subject matter.
If you have already created a course and want to create a second version with a different language level, you can duplicate it and edit the course using the AI-assistant to help rewrite the content to a different level of complexity or context.
It’s best to download the PDF or Word document version of the unit from training.gov.au and upload that as a reference document when you generate the course.
The system will read the unit requirements in the PDF and use it to create topics and subtopics you can rearrange, add to, and edit to create your preferred course structure and flow. The system then generates content to populate each subtopic.
AI Course Creator currently supports AI-generated single-choice and multiple-choice quiz questions. Fill in the blank, true/false and match the answer/question are other formats are coming soon.
Single-choice and multiple-choice questions in courses are auto-marking. Students will receive immediate feedback to advise if they are right or wrong, and they also get an opportunity to retry if their answer is incorrect.
AI Course Creator currently doesn’t create mapping to unit requirements.
We’ve trained the model extensively using the same instructional design processes we use to create training resources for the VET sector, but the platform is designed for use by many types of organisations, from K-12 to workplace learning.
Output quality relies on providing good context and information during the initial course creation phase and ensuring you have a good course structure with all the topics and sub-topics you want to cover. You can also select the length of the course content from simple through to complex which helps determine the volume and depth of content in the output.
Meanwhile, videos and other multimedia are added by you when you create the course. You can embed videos from YouTube and Vimeo in addition to uploading your own videos to the system.
All uploaded images, videos, and documents take up storage space. However, we don’t count AI-generated text output in your storage limit.
AI Course Creator automatically compresses uploaded images to reduce file size and maximise your storage capacity. You can also embed videos instead of uploading them to save on storage.
It’s difficult to define how much space a single course will require as it depends on what you add into the course. We don’t count AI-generated text in your storage usage; we only count the images, videos, documents, and other media you upload to the system.
Note that you can upload videos to YouTube and Vimeo before embedding them onto your course. This doesn’t take up storage either, so it’s very easy to add video content to your course without exceeding your storage limits!
eSkilled AI Course Creator is an all-in-one course creation, management and editing tool where you can store and manage course content and share to almost any LMS – even multiple LMS’ at the same time – via learning tool interoperability (LTI). It was developed as a standalone system.
You don’t need to subscribe to our other platforms to use this product. You can use AI Course Creator with other LMS platforms. If you’re an existing eSkilled LMS subscriber, you can share courses from your AI Course Creator account to your eSkilled LMS via LTI. This is explained in more detail below.
Absolutely! eSkilled’s AI Course Creator produces courses that integrate smoothly with most LMS. These courses are generated in SCORM format, the standard most platforms use. You can then publish them on your LMS using learning tools interoperability (LTI). If you aren’t sure, please check with your LMS provider if they support LTI integration.
LTI stands for learning tools interoperability, a standard developed by the IMS Global Learning Consortium. It outlines how educational applications should integrate with LMS so that tools like quizzes, discussion forums, or content modules can be seamlessly embedded within an LMS environment. This standard facilitates the exchange of information between the LMS and third-party tools, making it easier for schools and universities to adopt new teaching and learning technologies.
The master version of your course stays in AI Course Creator, so you can easily update content and publish the new version. Upon saving your changes, the system will automatically push the updated course to your LMS via LTI. Once the LTI connection is established, you don’t need to do anything. The version in your AI Course Creator will be the same as the one in your LMS.
If you don’t want to push your changes live immediately, duplicate your course and apply changes to the new version. When you’re ready to publish it, you can link the new course to your LMS via LTI.

OpenAI’s ChatGPT is an example of an LLM specifically tailored to generate human-like responses in a conversational format. The acronym emphasises the model’s ability to handle large-scale data and complex language processing tasks effectively.
Like generative pre-trained transformers (GPT), LLMs work on machine learning principles and natural language processing (NLP). They are trained using various text data, from books and websites to articles and other sources, to learn the structure and nuances of language. Here’s an overview of how they work:
However, LLMs have limitations. They sometimes generate inaccurate information, exhibit biases in their training data, and lack a true understanding of language the way humans do. Despite this, they are powerful tools for a variety of language tasks.

eSkilled has chosen to power our AI Course Creator with GPT-4o. There are several key advantages that this technology offers over older models like GPT-4 or GPT-3.5:
Many other AI course creation tools use GPT-3.5 because it’s cheaper and allows providers to offer lower price points or free tiers. We believe the higher quality of output we achieve using GPT-4o means better quality, more relevant courses and less work for you to do before you can go to market with your training content.
GPT-4o is also considerably quicker to generate content, so you and your team aren’t sitting around idle and waiting for outputs at a significant financial and opportunity cost.
eSkilled’s AI Course Creator uses LLM technology but adds considerable value compared to a traditional AI chat tool like ChatGPT. We have spent thousands of hours programming the platform and training the LLM to generate course content in a style and format suited to training, following the ‘tell-show-do’ training philosophy and continually improving the system.
eSkilled’s system applies a considerable amount of prompt engineering behind the scenes, which you don’t see – but this makes it much faster and easier to generate high-quality training content already formatted in a training context. AI Course Creator will also publish your course content directly in e-Learning format, eliminating the need for additional expensive subscriptions or hiring an e-Learning developer to convert them for you.
With enough time and the right prompts, skilled instructional designers may be able to get similar outputs from AI chat tools. However, there is still a considerable time cost involved in planning the course structure, asking the right questions, compiling all the outputs, formatting them and creating the e-Learning version. eSkilled does the same thing with a few questions and clicks, including outputting to e-Learning format ready for integration to any LMS via LTI, potentially saving many hours or days per course.
Most instructional designers enjoy massive time and cost savings using eSkilled AI Course Creator. Most also save on other subscriptions as they don’t need to maintain a separate AI chat tool subscription (or multiple subscriptions), which means they don’t need another e-Learning conversion tool.

Each plan has a monthly included AI Generation Credit allowance. These credits refresh at the beginning of each monthly subscription period and can only be used within that monthly period.
AI Generation Credits are how we track AI usage in eSkilled AI Course Creator. When you create a course using AI or edit course content using AI, there is a ‘cost’ of input/output tokens for using the LLM’s generation technology. We simplify this into one ‘AI Generation Credit’, where input/output tokens equal AI Generation Credits.
We have converted the direct dollar cost of supplying certain services into an equivalent value of tokens so that all consumables in the system can use one ‘AI Generation Credit’. When you generate AI content, the cost is calculated in AI Generation Credits. Each time you use AI technology in the system, AI Generation Credits will be consumed.
AI Generation Credits are used based on the amount of input and output from the AI generation tools, including the size of reference documents uploaded to the course creation wizard. You can select the course length and complexity to suit your needs. The system will display the generation cost once the process is complete. Each AI generation uses AI Generation Credits, so we cannot refund them if you accidentally generate something you don’t want.
Each subscription plan includes AI Generation Credits to consume each month. Additional AI Generation Credits can be purchased separately.

In the menu for each course, you can select Generation Credits to see how many credits were consumed in the creation of your course and images.
AI Generation Credits reset on the first day of each monthly subscription period, and your monthly reset date will depend on which date you subscribed to eSkilled’s AI Course Creator. Monthly generation credits that are part of your subscription plan must be used within the month, and any unused credits will not roll over to the next month.
If you purchase extra generation credits on top of your subscription, they must be used within 12 months of the purchase date.
If you exceed your AI Generation Credit limit, you have two options. First, you can upgrade to a higher-level plan. This is the most cost-effective way to get credits if you consistently exceed your generation credits cap. Alternatively, if you don’t expect to need extra credits every month, you can buy a one-off AI Generation Credit pack.
Unlike most AI course creation tools, eSkilled AI Course Creator doesn’t require you to upgrade your plan to create more courses. If you’re busy and need to create a lot of training content in a short time, you can just purchase an AI Generation Credit pack to meet your short-term course creation needs and stay on the cheaper plan! Additional AI Generation Credits are available to purchase separately from your subscription. If you exceed the monthly AI Generation Credit quota included in your subscription and don’t wish to wait until your Generation Credits refresh at the start of next month, you can purchase an AI Generation Credit Pack for an additional one-off fee.
AI Generation Credit Packs give you additional AI Generation Credits to use and last for 12 months from the date of purchase. You will continue to receive your monthly allowance of AI Generation Credits even if you have an unused AI Generation Credit Pack. Your regular monthly allowance of AI Generation Credits will be used before the system starts using your Credit Pack.

One of the main advantages of eSkilled AI Course Creator is its use of Enterprise-grade API access to generative AI technology, which provides much higher security and privacy protections compared to the consumer-grade ChatGPT service.
Importantly, unlike the consumer ChatGPT service, data from the Enterprise API is NOT used to train the AI model. This means you can safely upload business data to eSkilled’s AI Course Creator to create your courses without worrying about it appearing in someone else’s AI generation in the future.
OpenAI may securely retain API inputs and outputs for up to 30 days to provide the services and to identify abuse. After 30 days, API inputs and outputs are removed from their systems, unless they are legally required to retain them.

You can adjust your subscription plan by clicking on the eBot avatar in the top-right corner of the app. Select My Subscription, then adjust your chosen plan.
Definitely! You can adjust your subscription plan anytime, and your new plan will take effect immediately.
AI Course Creator works on a monthly or annual subscription basis. Discounted pricing is available when you choose an annual subscription. You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time, provided you stay within the usage limits of the lower-level plan.
If you exceed the usage limits of the lower-level plan, you will need to remove data (users and courses) or take other actions to get under the new plan limit before the system allows you to downgrade your plan.
You can change plans through your account portal. If you upgrade to a higher plan, changes will be immediate, and you will be charged the difference in fees so you can access all extra features right away. If you downgrade your plan, your changes will apply at the start of the next billing cycle.
Contracts will automatically renew at the end of each month unless you cancel your subscription before the billing date. After you cancel your subscription, your account will stay active until your paid subscription period ends.

A user account is defined as a user that accesses the AI Course Creator system via a unique username and password. Each person using the system is required to have a personal account.
The system has two user levels: Administrators and Course Creators. From a system usage standpoint, administrators are counted as course creators by default. Some subscription plans include multiple Course Creator accounts so that multiple users within your organisation can see, edit, and collaborate on course creation and management.
Students aren’t intended to have access to this system, as it is a course creation and management tool. Courses will be shared with your students in your existing LMS via LTI.
The number of user accounts you get will depend on your subscription plan. Please see the Pricing page for more information about the number of users included in each plan.
Please note that sharing a single account with multiple people is against the terms of service. Each person must have their own user account. Logging in multiple times to the same user account will cause the system to log out previous users. We reserve the right to suspend your account if we see evidence of account sharing.
You may upgrade your account to include more users. Please see the Pricing page for more information about the number of users included in each plan.
If you have exceeded the maximum number of users available in all advertised plans, please contact us; we will be happy to create a custom plan tailored to your usage requirements.
Click on the eBot avatar located in the top-right corner of the app. Select My Profile, then click on the Security tab. Change your password and click the Update Password button to save your changes.
On the login page, click the Forgot Password button. Type in your registered email and click Submit. We’ll send you a password recovery URL via email. Click the link, and you’ll be redirected to a password reset form. Enter your new password and try logging in again. You should now be able to access your account.
AI and copyright law is still relatively new and complex. It may change rapidly and vary from country to country.
Australian copyright laws require human authorship to contribute ‘independent intellectual effort’ to claim copyright ownership. Current interpretations as of April 2024 suggest that no copyright protections would exist in situations where AI works independently and no human author exists. Copyright protections are more likely to apply to works created with AI assistance where the human contribution is substantial and creative.

It uses a mix of licensed data, human-created data, and publicly available information for training. Responses occasionally resemble existing texts; this is not intentional plagiarism but a byproduct of how the model processes language.
